This past Sat. Emily celebrated her 11th birthday. Where has the time gone?? It seems like just yesterday the Lord gave her to us. We allowed her to have her neighbour friend and her cousin over Saturday for a sleep over. They had a great time!! We had tacos for lunch, then went to Adventure Village for a game of mini putt and the girls were able to get on the bungi trampoline. It was great fun watching their faces as they jumped way high in the air, almost to the tree tops!! They thoroughly enjoyed it! After that, we went home for a craft and some supper. For the craft, we decided to decorate wooden pencil boxes with paint, crackle, and other decorations. The boxes turned out beautifully!! Then we had supper that included beef stroganoff, chocolate cake and ice cream, and some pop. Those quiet sweet little girls were BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS!! But that is ok; it really was my fault for letting them have all that junk food. Everyone then headed off to bed, and we all went to church the next morning. We had a geat time, and I especially hoped it would be memorable for Emily.
