Do you remember in an earlier post how I talked about Alan and the children having a blowout on the highway on their way to Georgina Baptist Church? Well, now, I want to tell you the rest of the story...

While all this was happening between 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., back in Simcoe at Bethel Baptist Church, where my mother-in-law is a member, she was in her S.S. class and someone approached her and handed her some money and said, "Hi, give this to 'our boy'". This was at 9:55 a.m. Then, after S.S., the same lady approached her and said, "Here, I want him to have this too." MIL said, "But you have already given him some." The lady said, I want him to have this, too. And she added another $20. It was a total of $60!! I want to be more like this lady who listens to God, is obedient, and therefore, a blessing to others.

Here's the amazing thing: remember how I told you that the tow truck driver gave Alan a discount because he was a missionary? Well, he would normally charge $150 for the weekend, but he charged him the $60 weekday rate! Our Lord is so good and I am so thankful when His mighty Hand is at work!! By the way, isn't it always at work? Isn't HE ALWAYS doing things for us? Sometimes we don't see it because we have taken HIM for granted. I know I have.
