Never Been to Church
Hello, friends! Thanks for stopping by today! The children and I had a great time skating today! Bethany is doing REALLY well! I am really proud of her! The other kids were all naturals. It seemed that they put the skates on and never looked back. Now if they fall, it is usually on purpose. To slide. I don't get that, but hey, they enjoy it. But it has taken Bethy a while. She has been taking some lessons from her big brother Brendin, who by the way, seems to be an excellent coach! Anyway, when the kids aren't skating around me, I find it peaceful and am so thankful that the Lord has given us this opportunity.
While we were out today, Alan was called and asked to go on an emergency call to the hospital. It was for a man who is 97 years old. This man had NEVER been to church in his life! I don't know why I was so shocked at this news, but I was. And saddened. I don't know anything else about this man other than the fact that he was really out of it. Never been to church. In 97 years of life. His wife of 76 years was in a room across the hall from him. She is 95 years old.
Well, I will sign off for now. Please continue to pray for pastors and their churches. God is so good. And He can do anything. We just have to be faithful at what HE wants us to do. And just leave the results to HIM!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Ida
