Utah
Hello, Everyone!! Thanks so much for thinking about us and praying for us! The Lord has been so good! Not only do we have so many people back home, but He is giving us more and more people to connect with, which is making our prayer list bigger. Yay!!
So, we finally finished the roof, and it turned out lovely. So we finished it on Wednesday morning and packed up and left Wednesday afternoon. Within a matter of about 1 hour, we had a meeting scheduled and then cancelled. Oh, well, sometimes that happens! So we headed down towards the Salt Lake City area. I tell you, the drive was just beautiful!! We went through the thin part of Idaho, then into Montana (I loved it, and had ALWAYS wanted to go to Montana), back into Idaho, and finally into Utah. The mountains through that drive were really different. Some were covered with pine trees, but others would have a large area of the mountain with pine trees, and then be completely bald on the other side. Even different yet, were many mountains that looked "velvety" from far away, and then once we got closer to them, we could see that they were in fact covered with desert-looking grass. I did get some pictures, but unfortunately we left the wire for our camera back in Ontario. So hopefully I will remember to post them at a later date.
So anyway, now we are in Utah and here to stay in the area for the next 3 Sundays. We just got back from Bible Baptist Church's teen night, where Alan preached. We had a terrific time!
Well, I must be on my way, once again, thanks for all you do for us! Oh, I almost forgot, THREE more churches took us on for support this month!! What a blessing!
Have a wonderful day,
Psalm 113:1,2
Love,
Ida

What churches are you scheduled at? I'm so jealous. We love Utah! If you have time you should check out Arches National Park in Moab, although it's probably scorching in the dessert right now, we went in October. Anyhow, enjoy God's wilderness. Julie
Tomorrow we will be at Heritage Baptist Church in Rose Park. Next Sunday, we will be in Bible Baptist Church in Tooele, and the following Sunday we will be in Bible Baptist Church, Taylorsville. We really are enjoying it here, and we will try to do something special in the next week or so. I believe someone has suggested that that would be a good place to visit. Take care! BTW, how did things work out with the loan for the property? Still praying! Ida
