Beacon Baptist Church
Hello, friends,
We made it to Beacon Baptist Church in Cambridge, Ontario this morning. We had such a great time here. I was asked to teach jr. church, so I could not be near the display table today. We have always enjoyed spending time with Pastor and Mrs. Wyatt and their two children. I had not realized that their two children are the same age as two of ours. It was great to see the kids all get along. Brendin made a new best friend, too. The Wyatts have this ADORABLE dog. Brendin loves most dogs, and this one especially. They played really well together:o). I was nervous about teaching, as I had not taught in any children's ministry since November. But I had a wonderful time. It was really good to see that this church has a good bus ministry. NEVER give up on your bus kids! I am so glad my bus captain didn't give up on me or my brothers. No matter where we moved to within the city, she was always there, ready to pick us up! I thank the Lord for her and the bus drivers. What a blessing they were in my life!
After the morning service, we Alan, Brendin, Mrs. Wyatt, and myself all headed back to the Wyatt house and enjoyed a DELICIOUS lunch and a good time of fellowship. It was a great morning. After that, since we did not have a scheduled evening service, we came back to Faith Baptist and joined them for their service. What a great crowd they had. The preaching was good, too! Right now, it is 10:30, and Alan, Brendin, and Austin all headed over to the Eagles's house, along with other men in the church to enjoy a bowl of chili and the Superbowl. The girls and I stayed home and enjoyed left-over chicken enchiladas and Facing the Giants. We had a great time!
Well, the boys just arrived, so I will sign off. Have a wonderful week!

It is good to have Brendin back from snow camp. I know that he had a wonderful time! He said that the preaching was really good, he's tired, and sore. AAAAHHHH!! The makings of a perfect weekend!
