Complicated

I was going over my daily Bible reading today out of Leviticus 3 and 4. I guess I had never realized all the requirements of sacrifice for sin. For example, if someone ignorantly committed a sin regarding a commandment, then a priest had to sacrifice a certain type of animal using a particular gender, and there were specifications. I don't know how the priests memorized everything that had to be done and all the qualifications that were involved. The first thing that popped into my head was, "Wow!!!! We are so blessed to have a Saviour that took care of all of the specifics!" No trying to figure out if the priest had the right kind of animal, etc. The only thing we have to do is to realize that we (I) have sinned, and ask Christ for forgiveness. Repentance is key here. How can we truly ask for forgiveness if we know that tomorrow we are just going to do the same thing again? He has taken care of the rest. Truly, the Lord is good, and we (I) are not worthy. But He died any way. To pay our (my) penalty for sin. No sin is too great to be forgiven.
Our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, was the Ultimate Sacrifice!
Psalm 113:1,2
Have a wonderful day,
Love ya, Ida
